Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: April 2025   |   Last Updated: April 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.thesisterhoodproject.ae, your membership with The Sisterhood Project, and your participation in any events, sessions, or programmes we offer. Please read them carefully.

By accessing our website, registering for membership, purchasing event tickets, or participating in any TSP activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. About Us

The Sisterhood Project (“TSP”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a women’s community and events platform based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, founded and operated by Mariah Aziz. TSP provides membership programmes, in-person events, online sessions, and wellness-focused community experiences for women.

Contact: mariah@thesisterhoodproject.ae | www.thesisterhoodproject.ae | Dubai, UAE

2. Eligibility

Our membership and community programmes are designed exclusively for women aged 18 and over. By registering for any TSP service, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.

TSP reserves the right to decline or revoke membership or event access if eligibility requirements are not met or if participation is deemed not in the best interests of the community.

3. Membership

3.1 Membership Overview

TSP offers a single-tier monthly membership (“Membership”) that grants access to the following community benefits:

  • Weekly Women’s Circle (in-person, 120 minutes) — nervous system grounding, guided reflection, structured dialogue, and coaching-influenced accountability

  • Monthly Deep Dive Online Masterclass (120 minutes) — personal development topics including relationships, emotional regulation, identity, boundaries, and aligned living

  • Monthly Social Event with The Man Cave Project — cross-community experiences including hikes, fitness events, padel, and social gatherings

  • Monthly Transformational Breathwork Session (in-person, 50% discount for members) — facilitated by Mariah Aziz, Certified Transformational Breathwork Practitioner

  • Access to the private, moderated Sisterhood community group

  • Exclusive partner discounts and member deals

  • Priority access to future retreats and early access to special events

3.2 Membership Fee

The monthly membership fee is AED 200 per calendar month. Fees are due in advance of each membership month. TSP reserves the right to revise membership pricing with a minimum of 30 days’ written notice to existing members.

3.3 Billing and Renewal

Membership renews automatically on a monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorise TSP to charge the applicable monthly fee to your nominated payment method on a recurring basis at the start of each membership month. Your membership will continue to renew until you actively cancel it in accordance with Section 3.4 below.

You are responsible for ensuring your payment details remain current and accurate. Failed payments may result in immediate suspension of membership access until the outstanding amount is settled.

3.4 Cancellation by Member

Your membership will not expire or auto-cancel. It is your responsibility to cancel your membership if you no longer wish to continue. To cancel, contact us at mariah@thesisterhoodproject.ae before your next renewal date. Your membership will remain active until the end of the current paid month, after which no further charges will be made.

Monthly fees are non-refundable. No refund will be issued for any month already paid, regardless of how many sessions or events were attended. Membership fees cannot be refunded on the basis of non-attendance, low usage, or lack of participation during the membership period.

3.5 Cancellation or Suspension by TSP

TSP reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time, without notice or refund, in the event of:

  • Breach of these Terms or our Community Standards

  • Behaviour that is disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful to other members, staff, or facilitators

  • Conduct that brings TSP or its founders into disrepute

  • Fraudulent activity or misuse of membership benefits

3.6 Changes to Membership Benefits

TSP may modify, add, or remove specific membership benefits at any time. Where material changes are made, members will be notified with reasonable advance notice. Continued membership following such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated benefits.

4. Events and Sessions

4.1 Event Registration

Certain TSP events require advance registration. Your place is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a confirmed registration confirmation. TSP reserves the right to limit attendance at any event.

4.2 Cancellations and Refunds — Events

All event ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, personal scheduling conflicts, or failure to attend.

Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another eligible woman by notifying us at mariah@thesisterhoodproject.ae with the name and contact details of the transferee before the event date.

A refund will only be considered in the following extenuating circumstances:

  • TSP cancels the event entirely

  • TSP changes the event date or time, and you are no longer able to attend as a direct result of that change

In these cases, you will be offered a full refund or, where preferred, a credit toward a future TSP event. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the relevant notification.

4.3 Event Changes

TSP reserves the right to change event dates, venues, facilitators, or programme content as reasonably required. Where material changes occur, registered attendees will be notified as soon as practicable.

4.4 Breathwork Sessions — Health Disclaimer

Transformational breathwork is a somatic practice that may produce strong physical and emotional responses. By participating in any breathwork session facilitated by or through TSP, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for assessing your own physical and mental health suitability prior to participation

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, including cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, pregnancy, severe anxiety, or psychiatric disorders, to the facilitator in advance

  • TSP and its facilitators are not medical professionals and breathwork is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment

  • You participate entirely at your own risk

TSP strongly recommends consulting your doctor or healthcare provider before attending breathwork sessions if you have any existing health conditions.

4.5 Co-Hosted Events

Certain TSP events are co-hosted with The Man Cave Project or other partner organisations. These events are governed by these Terms in respect of your participation. TSP is not responsible for the conduct, policies, or obligations of partner organisations.

5. Member Conduct and Community Standards

The Sisterhood Project is a conscious, values-led community built on safety, mutual respect, and shared growth. Every member is a representative of TSP — the standards we hold inside the community are expected to carry through to how members conduct themselves outside of it too. How you show up in the world reflects on the community you are part of.

By becoming a member or attending any TSP event, you agree to uphold the following standards in all contexts — in person, online, and within any TSP-affiliated space.

5.1 General Conduct

  • Treat all members, facilitators, guests, and staff with dignity, kindness, and respect

  • Engage with honesty and integrity, both within TSP spaces and in how you represent your membership externally

  • Respect the emotional and physical boundaries of others at all times

  • Honour the structure and facilitation of sessions — arrive on time, participate in good faith, and follow the guidance of facilitators

  • Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with TSP’s ethos of conscious womanhood, aligned living, and emotional accountability

5.2 Zero Tolerance — Discrimination and Hate

TSP is an inclusive space. We have zero tolerance for any form of:

  • Racism, xenophobia, or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, or cultural background

  • Sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation

  • Religious intolerance or discrimination on the basis of faith or belief

  • Ableism or discrimination on the basis of physical or mental health

  • Hate speech of any kind — in person, in community groups, or via any digital channel

  • Bullying, intimidation, verbal abuse, or any behaviour intended to demean, humiliate, or harm another person

  • Sexual harassment or any unwanted physical, verbal, or digital conduct of a sexual nature

These standards apply to all interactions — including private messages sent to other members via community platforms, WhatsApp groups, or any other channel connected to TSP.

5.3 Commercial Activity and Network Solicitation

TSP is a community, not a marketplace. Members must not use their access to the TSP network, community group, events, or member relationships to:

  • Actively solicit, pitch, or sell products, services, or business offerings to other members without prior written approval from TSP

  • Recruit or attempt to redirect TSP members into their own paid communities, programmes, or platforms

  • Use TSP events or group access as a lead generation tool for personal or commercial gain

  • Distribute promotional materials, affiliate links, discount codes, or unsolicited offers within TSP spaces

We understand that genuine connections and professional relationships naturally form within the community, and this is welcomed. The distinction is intent: organic relationship-building is encouraged; deliberate commercial exploitation of the network is not.

If you are interested in a partnership, collaboration, or commercial arrangement, please contact TSP directly at mariah@thesisterhoodproject.ae.

5.4 Conduct Outside the Community

Members are ambassadors of The Sisterhood Project. While we do not police your private life, we expect that your conduct outside TSP — particularly on public platforms and in shared social circles — does not bring the community, its members, or its founders into disrepute.

This includes but is not limited to: making public statements that contradict TSP’s values, sharing disparaging or defamatory content about TSP or its members, or behaving in a manner that would be considered harmful or embarrassing to the community if it were known you were a TSP member.

5.5 Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness or experience any conduct that you believe violates these standards, we encourage you to report it to us confidentially at mariah@thesisterhoodproject.ae. All reports will be handled with discretion and care.

TSP reserves the right to investigate any reported conduct and to take whatever action it deems appropriate, which may include a formal warning, temporary suspension, or immediate permanent removal from the community.

Any member found to be in serious or repeated breach of these conduct standards — including but not limited to incidents of hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or deliberate exploitation of the network — will be permanently banned from TSP. This includes all future events, membership, and community spaces. No refund will be issued upon removal. TSP’s decision in such matters is final.

6. Confidentiality and Safe Space

TSP operates on the principle of a safe, confidential space. Members and attendees are strictly prohibited from recording, photographing, or sharing any content from group sessions (Women’s Circles, Masterclasses, Breathwork sessions) without the explicit consent of all participants and TSP.

Personal disclosures made by other participants in any TSP session are strictly confidential and must not be shared outside the group. Violation of this principle is grounds for immediate membership termination.

7. Photography and Media

TSP may photograph or record events for marketing and community purposes. By attending a TSP event or session, you consent to being included in such photography or footage unless you have expressly opted out by notifying us in writing prior to the event.

Members and attendees may not photograph, film, or record other participants without their individual consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content published by TSP — including but not limited to its website, branding, social media content, session materials, masterclass content, and programme frameworks — is the intellectual property of The Sisterhood Project and its founders. You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or commercially exploit any TSP content without prior written permission.

Session content shared by facilitators (including frameworks, exercises, and guided practices) is proprietary and is provided for your personal use only.

9. Website Use

9.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems

  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content from the website

  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or malicious code

  • Use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its availability

9.2 Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. TSP has no control over the content of those sites and accepts no responsibility for them or any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

9.3 Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. TSP may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to the website at any time without notice for operational or maintenance reasons.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable UAE law, TSP, its founders, team members, and facilitators shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services or website

  • Any physical or psychological response arising from participation in breathwork, wellness sessions, or community events

  • The conduct or actions of other members or event attendees

  • Any loss arising from cancellation, postponement, or modification of events

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by TSP’s gross negligence.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

TSP’s services, sessions, and content are provided for community, personal development, and wellness purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, therapeutic, or professional advice. TSP does not warrant that its sessions or programmes will produce any specific outcome or result.

Participation in TSP activities, including breathwork, is voluntary and at your own risk. We strongly encourage members to seek independent professional advice for any medical, mental health, or personal circumstances that may be relevant to their participation.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Amendments

TSP reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Where material changes are made, we will notify members by email and update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of our services following notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy (available at www.thesisterhoodproject.ae/privacy-policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and TSP in relation to your use of our services. They supersede any prior agreements or representations.
